Hero Xoom 125R is the new upcoming scooter of Hero and this is the first scooter of 2025 of the Hero company. This scooter is the updated version of the previous scooter Hero Xoom 110 and has been equipped with the latest and advanced features. It was unveiled first at the event of EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy. This scooter will be more bulky and muscular from the front and rear profile as compared to the Xoom 110, and it will compete with the Honda Dio 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, Hop Electric LEO & Aprilia SR.
Hero Xoom 125R was spotted on the road of Rajasthan during testing on the Indian roads. It has a more powerful and refined engine that will help to improve the mileage of the scooter and reduce vibration from the previous model. It has a more comfortable seat and uses premium quality of material in the seats to improve the driving time and does not feel more harassed during long journeys. The company has taken lots of time to make different from the previous model. This scooter is perfect for all girls who want to feel the power and thrill on the roads. This scooter will provide more power and torque than the previous scooter Hero Maestro Edge having the same engine capacity.

Hero Xoom 125R Design
Hero Xoom 125R will come in a new look from the previous model Hero Xoom 110. It has a sharp cut on the body panel to make it more appealing and attractive. The company has used more premium quality fibers on the body panel and tried to give a premium look to this scooter. It has a nice design of a front med-guard. The scooter will look muscular and bulky from both the front and rear profiles which does not look like a 125 cc engine. The front design will look awesome and adorable from the Maestro Edge which will impress you a lot. The handlebar position and body posture are good for tall and short riders which will not lean your body and are best for long journeys.
The Hero company has used premium types of plastics on the handlebar and also has silver glossy finishes used below the handlebar which will seem to be more luxurious during driving. It has silver colour panels on the front side and has a sticker of i3S. There are two storage spaces in the front to keep small objects. It has 3D bazing of Xoom on both sides in the rear and the rear grab handle is also adorable. It has a black colour of metal footrest and has a unique design of headlight and taillight that will grab the attention of the people.
Hero Xoom 125R Features and Safety
Hero Xoom 125R will come with more advanced and updated features of 2025 as compared to Xoom 110. It has an LED projected headlight positioned in the centre along with two headlamps on both sides of the projected headlight along with L-shaped DRLs that will look attractive during glowing and has two split-type taillights in the rear. It has a digital instrument console that comes with smartphone connectivity features which shows parking location and helps to find the scooter by turning all indicators. This is the first in the segment to come with sequential LED turn indicators which will look attractive and incredible during glowing.
Hero Xoom 125R comes with a wide size tyre which will protect from skidding on the road and has a front tyre size of 110/80 and a rear tyre size of 120/70 which is too wide as compared to the Xoom 110. It comes with a unique shape of alloy wheel having a size of 14 inches which is too large for this scooter. It comes with a disc brake in the front tyre and a drum brake in the rear tyre. It has a good quality of switches provided on the handlebar to operate smoothly. It has a USB-type port below the left handlebar to charge the mobile during an emergency. It will come with i3S technology which will help to reduce fuel consumption and emissions and help to improve the mileage of the scooter.
Hero Xoom 125R Engine and Performance
Hero Xoom 125R is powered by BS6 emission having an engine capacity of 125 cc air cooled engine helps to keep the engine cool during overheated conditions. It produces a peak power of 9.6 Bhp and a peak torque of 10.15 Nm. It has a more refined and vibration-free engine than the previous model Xoom 110. It has a sufficient wide as well as long seat provided by the company and people will not feel discomfort during a long journey. This refined engine helps to improve the overall mileage of the scooter and reduce carbon emissions from the previous model.
Hero Xoom 125R has a telescopic upside-down fork suspension in the front and a single shock suspension in the rear side that will help to ride on rough roads also without inconvenience. Its mileage will also improve from the previous model and is expected to provide an average mileage of 50 kmpl in the city.

Hero Xoom 125R Price and Launch Date
Hero Xoom 125R was first unveiled in Italy in the event of EICMA 2023 and now Hero has decided to bring this version in India also. It will come with single variants and different colour options. It is expected to launch in India in the month of January 2025 and is available at a price range of Rs. 90,000 (ex-showroom).
