Honda has planned to enter into the electric motor industry and launched its first electric scooter in India Honda Activa e. This electric scooter is equipped with the latest and advanced features and the company has provided an inbuilt navigation system to help the riders to find the best possible route on unknown roads. Honda Activa e will come with swappable battery features that will deliver a peak torque of 22 Nm which is good for this type of scooter.
Honda Activa e will bring revolution in the electric scooter industry and in the initial stage, it will be available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi only, but later it will be available in all other cities of India. Honda Activa e will compete with other electric scooters Lectrix LXS 3.0, Odysse Racer & Odysse Trot. It will come with a pair of 1.5kWh swappable batter. The company has already set up battery-swappable stations in Delhi and Bengaluru and will be soon established in Mumbai.

Honda Activa e Design
Honda Activa e has a sleek look from the front and rear profiles. It has an awesome design of taillight which will look attractive while glowing. The quality of material used in its panels is of superior quality and has premium quality of switches provided in the handles to operate smoothly. It has flushed footsteps on this scooter which will attract the attention of the people. It comes with a 12-inch alloy wheel that looks more adorable during rotation. There is a hole in the middle of the body to make it more aerodynamic. It has round shaped grab handle and has two storage spaces in the front. The shape of the screen is fully changed from the previous model of Activa. The Fiber’s quality is also of premium quality that will not break easily.

Honda Activa e has been equipped with modern and more advanced features and has an instrument cluster of 7-inch TFT screen. It has different riding modes and helps to enjoy the maximum power of the scooter in different conditions of roads. The color of the display changes during the changing of riding modes. It has an LED reflector headlight in the front along with LED DRLs. It has an LED taillight as well as LED turn indicators. It has a Disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear tyre. It has a joystick provided in the left handlebar to control the navigation system of the screen. It has Honda’s H smart key features which includes Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start.
Honda Activa e Engine and Riding Range
Honda Activa e comes with a pair of batteries having a capacity of 1.5 kWh each. It delivers a peak torque of 22 Nm and has a max motor power of 6 KW. It has a telescopic Upside-down fork suspension in the front and a mono-shock suspension in the rear side which does not feel more harassing and hurdling during long journeys. The seats of Activa e will provide a smooth experience during a long journey. It has three riding modes first econ, Standard, and sports. It has a top speed of 80 kmph and gets a speed of zero to 60 kmph in 7.3 sec which is good for this scooter.

Honda Activa e Price and Launch Date
Honda Activa e will be launched in India in January 2025 and you may take a test drive of this scooter near the Honda showroom in February 2025. It will be launched in two variants Activa e RoadSync Duo and Activa e STD and offers five different colors including Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. It is launched in India at a price range of Rs.1-1.30 lakhs in India.
