Suzuki has launched its new superbike Suzuki GSX-8R in the Indian market. Before launching, this had created lots of rumors in the Indian market about its design, features, and price. Now, finally, this bike has been launched in the Indian market and all rumors have ended here. The company officially disclosed its all features and specifications at the place of launch.
Suzuki GSX-8R is a futuristic superbike with a fuel tank capacity of 14L. This bike has been launched at a very high price. All the people of India can not afford this superbike due to its high price. The Suzuki should keep its price in the mid-range to increase its sales. It has been powered by BS6 Engine which produces a max power of 81.8 Bhp and a max torque of 78 Nm. The company has used graphics in many parts of the bike to enhance the look and provide the feeling of superbike by its looks.

Suzuki GSX-8R Design
Suzuki GSX-8R has a bulky look from the side profile and looks slim from the front profile. The design of this bike will help to gain more power and torque on the roads. The company has used graphics in many parts to improve the design and try to provide a sporty look. The Suzuki bikes are also used in the races to due to their high performance. It has a vertically stacked twin LED headlight along with horizontal stripped LED DRLs and an LED taillight along with an LED turn indicator which is really look awesome and adorable during nighttime.
Suzuki GSX-8R has a black exhaust system without a muffler. Its exhaust sound is normal and does not have more bass which does not feel sporty during acceleration. It has sufficient height of the seat for any type of rider and they will not face problems on keeping of both feet on the pavement during riding.

Suzuki GSX-8R has been equipped with more latest and advanced features which makes this bike more different from others. It has a 5-inch TFT LCD multi-information display which has been fitted at the middle of the door handle and shows the latest features like Suzuki’s easy start system, low RPM assist, Ride by wire, speedometer, odometer, trip meter, tachometer, and Bi-Directional Quick Shifter. It has 3 different riding modes which help the rider to balance the power of the bike according to condition of terrain, roads, and weather conditions. It has a tyre of 120/70-ZR17 in the front and 180/55-ZR17 in the rear. It comes with tubeless tyres having an alloy wheel size of 17-inch cast aluminum in the front and rear tyres which increases the bike appearance of the tyre during revolving.
Suzuki GSX-8R has also a traction control mode that helps to reduce the power of the engine when the grip between the road and tyre is leaving. It also reduces road accidents due to loss of traction on the roads. It has a Twin disc brake of 310 mm in the front trye with a 4-piston Nissin caliper and a single disc brake of 240 mm in the rear tyre with single piston Nissin caliper along with dual channel ABS system which helps to reduce accidents due to brake failing and improves the overall safety of the bike. The Suzuki does not compromise with the safety of the riders whether it is simple or sport bikes.
Suzuki GSX-8R Engine and Performance
Suzuki GSX-8R is powered by 776 cc BS6 produces a peak torque of 78 Nm and a max power of 81.8 Bhp which helps to gain speed in very little time and improves the overall performance of the bike. It has a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC Engine that comes with a 6-speed gearbox. It has a Showa SFF-BP USD Forks in the front suspension and a show link type mono-shock in the rear suspension which improves the riding time and does not feel more harassing and hurdle during long journeys.
Suzuki GSX-8R comes with a split seat and has sufficient length and width of the seat to accommodate a maximum of three people including a rider. The company claims that its average mileage in the city will be 23.8 kmpl. It has a top speed of 215 kmph and gains a speed of 0-100 kmph in 4 sec. This bike will compete against the Triumph Daytona 660, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, and the Aprilia RS660 in performance, features, and price wise also.

Suzuki GSX-8R was launched in India on 4th Oct, 2024 but its booking will start soon. It will be available soon in the Indian showroom and you may take the test drive of this bike near your Suzuki showroom. It comes in one variant only and offers four color options first Metallic Triton Blue (YSF), Pearl Ignite Yellow (QZY), Metallic Mat Sword Silver (QKA), and Metallic Mat Black No.2 (YKV). It is available at a price range of Rs. 9.25 lakhs in Indian showroom and this is the average ex-showroom price of this bike.
