Triumph Speed 400 is the first bike of Triumph company which is coming in the mid-range segment in the Indian market, and this bike will give the feeling of premium and luxury to the riders. Triumph Speed 400 is coming in the Indian market by the collaboration of Triumph and Bajaj and is manufactured in India in the Bajaj manufacturing plant. This is the first time for Triumph which is going to launch this one-cylinder sporty bike in the mid-range in the Indian market, and It has a centre-aligned digital instrument cluster. This is the first bike in which Traction control features have been provided in that segment. This bike will give competition in the Indian market to KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Honda CB300R, & Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z.

Triumph Speed 400’s profile has been designed in such a way by Triumph’s engineers to utilize the maximum power & Torque produced by the Bike. Trump’s bike has also been used in Hollywood & Bollywood movies like “Jurrasic Park’’ and so many films. Usually, all bikes have chain set on the left side but this bike has got on the right side, these changes make this bike more different from other bikes in that segment and these all changes improve the overall design of the bike.

The looks of this bike are more adorable and will attract an audience in India and originally, its design is made by British engineers. Triumph Speed 400 has been given dual tone glossy-colour finish in the fuel tank and the fuel tank also looks muscular and gives sharp finishes on it.  Riders will feel more powerful and comfortable driving this bike on Indian roads. It has got an LED headlamp and LED indicator on the front and back side and also an LED tail lamp.

This is the first bike in that price segment where Traction control technology has been provided and this feature also makes this bike more special and different from others. The company has focused more on the safety of the riders and improved riding comfort of the people there are not provided any wires in the accelerator and never getting problems of damaging the wire of the accelerator for the rider.

Triumph Speed 400 has also got climate control devices and one more feature of this bike makes it more special in terms of safety. This bike comes with an Immobilizer technology system where a sensor has been installed in the key of this bike and it will not start without a key.

Triumph Speed 400 Performance and Engine

This is the first bike of triumph in this segment coming with a single-cylinder engine and produces a peak power of 39.5 bhp (29.4 kW) and a peak torque of 37.5 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. This bike competes in terms of power and torque with the KTM 390 Duke, and BMW G 310 R. Triumph Speed 400 has a mileage of 28-30 kilometers per hour but it is quite good for those who belong to middle-class families but Performace wise this bike will compete with lots in this segment.

Triumph Speed 400 was first time revealed in London on 27th June 2023 and where this bike got a positive response from the customer with 10,000 bookings initially. Finally, It has been launched in India on 5th July 2023 and let’s see what the responses from the Indian audience. The price of this bike is decided to launch in India Ex-showroom from ₹ 2,24,496.00. It is available in three different colours like Carnival Red, Caspian Blue & Phantom Black.
